Terms of Service for SupplyShield
SupplyShield Data Service: Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 22 Sep 2025
Welcome to the SupplyShield Data Service (“Service”) provided by Population Science (“we,” “us,” “our”). This document governs your use of our data feeds, including our blocklists and high-risk data segments (collectively, the “Data”). By accessing or using the Data, you agree to these terms.
1. Terms of Use
1.1. License and Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Data for the sole purpose of internal business operations, specifically for negative targeting in digital advertising campaigns to filter and block invalid traffic (“IVT”).
You are permitted to:
- Integrate the Data into Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), and other ad-tech platforms for the purpose of creating exclusion lists or blocklists.
- Use the Data to analyze and improve the quality of your advertising traffic.
1.2. Restrictions on Use
You are expressly prohibited from:
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Data in any form to any third party.
- Using the Data to identify, contact, or build a profile on any individual human being. The Data is provided exclusively for the identification of non-human or invalid traffic signals.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the proprietary methods or sources used to generate the Data.
- Publicly displaying or publishing the Data or any derivative analysis without our prior written consent.
- Using the Data for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
1.3. Acknowledgment of Data Freshness
You acknowledge the dynamic nature of the Data. An IP address or other identifier flagged as a source of invalid traffic one day may be a source of legitimate traffic the next. Our Data is provided daily to ensure maximum freshness. Keeping blocklists active for extended periods without refreshing them may result in unnecessarily blocking legitimate users and reducing potential audience reach.
1.4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE DATA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF THE DATA. YOUR USE OF THE DATA IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
1.5. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL POPULATION SCIENCE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE OR THE DATA.

- Contact Information: Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of your business contacts.
